Challenge
The Ispirer team was challenged by the client to perform an application conversion of Delphi to C# .NET Windows Forms UI. The scope covered more than 200 thousand lines of code.
Solution
The client preferred the Proof-of-Concept (PoC) stage (a demonstration to the client that Ispirer was indeed capable of accomplishing the concrete task). It took only two weeks for the technical team to accomplish the migration of about seven thousand lines of code. This was possible because Ispirer engineers have meticulously developed and mastered the Delphi to C# .NET conversion direction, and hence customization for this particular application migration project did not take much effort and time.
Results and Advantages
Ispirer provided a fully functional solution, and the PoC migration scope was automated in the Ispirer software. The client was pleased by the quality of work and acknowledged the short time span within which our technical specialists accomplished the task.
