What is IDM?

Ispirer Data Migrator (IDM) is the core automation asset behind Ispirer’s data migration projects — handling small- to large-scale migrations from Oracle to PostgreSQL and its forks, including AWS Aurora, Google AlloyDB, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. Unlike traditional CDC tools that require binary log access, IDM uses a database-level CDC mechanism deployed on the target side with read-only source access. IDM enables near-zero downtime at cutover, high-speed data transfer, and ensured data consistency in the target. The tool is available both as a standalone license and as part of Ispirer’s managed migration service.

The tool is 100% available for data migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL, so you’ll get access to all the features of the licensed edition for a month, with 200GB of migration capacity.
