More than 200 years ago, a forge near Vilshofen on the Danube gave birth to the Paul Group, which today still combines tradition with state-of-the-art expertise. We are developing a collaboration and fleet management tool for ourselves and our customers.
We started the initial testing in December 2023 and successfully completed the migration in April 2024. We had to make some syntax changes in the beginning before the tool was able to perform the conversion efficiently. In the process, we converted an average of 150 tables per database, stored procedures, and views with approximately about 25,000 lines of code.
Thanks to Ispirer for providing such a useful tool for database migration projects and I would recommend to anyone who has the same kind of project to use the tool to save effort/cost and reduce risks/challenges.
