We migrated a PostgreSQL database that feeds the back-end of our production website as well as all development and build environments using the Ispirer migration tool.
The migration process was quick and very easy and saved us a tremendous amount of time. We had many datatypes including datetime with timezone, json, text and typical datatypes that Ispirer handled nicely for us. Primary keys, indexes and constraints were all handled as well, as part of the migration process. The tool shows a detailed log of the export and import and creates intermediate files containing schema definitions and data that can be inspected for quality control and used by the DBA as needed.
The support Ispirer provided us was exceptional. This was a critical migration for us as this database is the back-end of our business and user experience on our website. They were very quick to answer questions, provide walk-throughs and most notably provided quick turnaround on features and fixes that helped us get through the migration. They are very customer focused and we are very grateful for their support.
