Big Rivers Electric Corporation is a member-owned, not-for-profit, generation and transmission cooperative (G&T) headquartered in Henderson, Kentucky.

For many years, the IBM AS400 was Big Rivers’ primary application and database server. Company demands pushed the decision to move away from the IBM platform. With only a handful of active applications remaining, I was given the task of converting the legacy DB2 data to a Microsoft SQL Server. Initial conversion tools were slow and cumbersome. A web search returned the highly reviewed Ispirer MnMTK toolkit. Installation of the demo found the application to be simple and straightforward. I was immediately impressed when sample tables converted in seconds. The Ispirer support team was superb! Correspondence was timely and all questions quickly addressed. The Ispirer MnMTK toolkit (specifically the SQLWays Wizard 2020 application) allowed the successful conversion of over 3,000 files within a very reasonable timeframe.
