Microsoft SQL Server ODBC Driver Configuration

Microsoft SQL Server 2000

Please, follow the next steps to specify the ODBC connection:

  • Please go to the “ODBC Administrator” choose the TAB “System DSN” and click “Add”. Choose the appropriate SQL Server Driver. See the picture:

Click “Finish”

  • In appeared window please enter the name of your future data source and in drop-down menu select server which you want to connect to as illustrated on the screen-shot below:

Click “Next”

  • Please choose authentication method and if necessary enter login and password.

Click “Next”

  • On this step you can change default database or attach database file if you want.

Click “Next”

  • Click “Finish”
  • Please press “Test Data Sourse” to test connection and if it's successful press “OK”

Now your ODBC Data Source is ready.

Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Please, follow the next steps to specify the ODBC connection:

  • Please go to the “ODBC Administrator” choose the TAB “System DSN” and click “Add”. Choose the appropriate SQL Server Driver. See the picture:

Click “Finish”

The following steps are identical to the same for SQL Server 2000 (See above)

Microsoft SQL Server 2008

Please, follow the next steps to specify the ODBC connection:

  • Please go to the “ODBC Administrator” choose the TAB “System DSN” and click “Add”. Choose the appropriate SQL Server Driver. See the picture:

Click “Finish”

The following steps are identical to the same for SQL Server 2000 (See above)
