Please, follow the following steps to specify the ODBC connection:

a. Please go to the “ODBC Administrator” choose the TAB “System DSN” and click “Add”. Choose the appropriate Oracle Driver. See the picture:

Click “Finish”.

b. Specify the “Data Source Name” - the name for the ODBC connection. Choose the "TNS Service Name" from the drop-down menu. Specify the default “User ID” to use for the connection. Click “Test Connection”.

If the connection is successful you are ready to use this ODBC name ORA1_ODBC for the connection to the Oracle Server.
