If you use SQLWays to migrate databases, it is not required to install SQLWays on the same computer where the target or source databases are located. SQLWays can be installed on any computer which meets the software and hardware requirements.

| Monitor | VGA or higher resolution 1024×768 or higher resolution |
At least 200 MB of free space in the installation location for SQLWays (additional space required for export files, its volume defined by the volume of the information exported from the source database).
You must have administrator rights to install SQLWays on a Windows Operating System.
Check the chapters Supported Source Databases and Supported Target Databases to ensure that SQLWays supports the database you are going to migrate.
