Ispirer Systems has become an Authorized MySQL Partner to develop its database migration software SQLWays and ensure easy conversion of business logic and data from all major databases to MySQL

May 27, 2004 – Ispirer Systems Ltd., a leading provider of complete and multi-platform database migration solutions, today announced that it has become an Authorized MySQL Partner. The newly established alliance between Ispirer Systems Ltd. and MySQL AB has been preceded by the release of SQLWays 3.7, the latest version of Ispirer Systems’ innovative database migration product especially developed to support conversion of business logic and data from enterprise-class databases to MySQL.

As a result of this development, SQLWays 3.7 has been enabled to migrate stored procedures, i.e. business logic executed on the database server, from Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase to the MySQL database version 5.0. The ability of SQLWays 3.7 to support this functionality, already after it was added to MySQL 5.0, has ensured an easy and cost-effective transition to this popular database.

Now, being granted the opportunity to use marketing and technical support from MySQL AB, Ispirer Systems intends to further develop its product in order to meet the needs of a wide range of customers willing to switch over to MySQL at a low cost and within a reasonable time.
